Company NewsAdmin Panel Update: You Will Be Able to Negotiate Your Terms on the Order Automatically!

LogotypeAs you know, we are constantly working to make things better for you at the ResearchWritingCenter.com. The admin panel is being updated constantly, mostly by fixing some minor bugs, which still affect the user experience.

But this update, which will be added to the site sometime next week, is going to offer a new great piece of functionality. This option will allow you an opportunity to offer your own terms of work on any given order, without the need of sending a message to the support, waiting for their response, etc. It will save you a lot of time and effort, while you browse through the available orders.

Working Button This is how the button will look like – it’s going to be on the far right on the order info bar. You need to remember that this option works similarly as the one currently available for the BIDS orders. So when you place your bid, you have to be realistic with the prices, deadlines and requirements.

Offers like this: “I want 30 dollars per page, 2 weeks and a PDF copy of the pages mentioned in the instructions (50 pages)” – will not work. While, the scans of the pages is somewhat justified, because the resource might not be available elsewhere, the other variables might actually be a bit over the top.

Request Page PreviewHere you can see how the request page will look like, it states the following: “If you are sure you can deliver a high quality work on this order but do not take this order because of time constraints, price or some other reasons, set your own terms!

Specify the deadline and price for this order, state within how many hours we can assign this order to you. We’ll review offers and assign this order based on the most competitive offer!”

The order will go to a writer with the best offer, and that doesn’t only include the price, it’s the correlation between the offered price, deadline and his background: how good was the writer with previous orders, how good was his/her deadline fulfillment and some other variables.

We hope that this functionality will offer you more options, when taking the orders within the admin panel, it should also optimize your working experience to a greater extent, allowing you to state for how long your offer is valid.

Good luck with your writing gigs! Have a great day!

This is interesting. I feel we are getting more say in the company; and that makes freelancing more realistic. I am eagerly awaiting the new development. Keep up!

    Hi Alex
I applied for a writers position with RWC; was assigned a test, and I got interviewed over the phone on 15th April 2011. Thereafter, I was told to wait for my account activation. Would please mind confirming to me when my account will be active? Thanks and nice time

      Hello Stephen,
Your application is still in line to be processed, so please be patient. I requested the QA to move your application in order for it to be checked sooner. But Fridays are usually slow on progress, because everyone is preparing for the weekend:)

Thanks Alex, my application was reviewed and i passed the two interviews last week.i was informed through a phone call that my account will be activated. Patiently waiting as the team work on the same.

    • April 27th, 2011 at 5:44 am

      Hello Jane,
Actually, the staffers on the phone should have just informed you that the application will be reviewed further. At the stage of the phone call, they don’t know if your account will be activated or not. The whole process might take up to a couple of weeks due to a large number of applications. Thank you.

hi,for how long should i wait for my account to be activated after filling the registration form?

    • April 27th, 2011 at 5:43 am

After the registration form, one of our staffers should get in touch with you. He/she should offer you a test task and after you are done with the test task, you’ll receive a phone call as the final stage of your application process. The whole thing may take up to a couple of weeks, because the number of applications is overwhelming! Thank you.

THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE COMPANY IS THAT AFTER GOING THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS AND PASSING THE TESTS,YOU WILL WAIT FOR ACCOUNT ACTIVATION BUT AT THE END THEY WILL DECLINE YOUR APPLICATION WITHOUT GIVING A REASON.

    • May 4th, 2011 at 5:45 am

      Hello Faith,
We understand your frustration. You have to keep in mind that there are hundreds of applicants for a position with RWC and each one of the applications is reviewed manually, so it might take up to a couple of weeks for your application to be reviewed. As for the reasoning behind the declines: we do not disclose it, because to some of the applicants it might sound offensive. There were a lot of inadequate, subjective people, who were informed that they weren’t accepted due to a particular reason, for example, bad grammar. These people were trying to contact us further, asking for another chance, cursing, because they thought that their language and writing was perfect. These interactions and chit-chat takes away time. That’s why, if you were declined, we do not provide the full coverage of the reason. Thank you for understanding! Have a great day!

    Hi Alex,

I think I just missed your call for the interview because I was on another call. Will I get a call back or is my chance gone? I am sure I passed the test. Please let me know. Thank you

    • May 10th, 2011 at 6:54 am

They should call you back within a couple of days, if there will be no contact by next Monday, please get back to us. Also you can contact the support team on the chat and they can even arrange a call when you are free to talk. Thanks

Hey, you don’t have to respond to the comment above. I just received the interview call on an alternative number that I provided. Thank you guys for your efficient PR, I look forward to working with you.

    • May 10th, 2011 at 6:55 am

Ok, great to hear that Cornell, please contact the support team through the chat option, they are the ones offering instant assistance, on the spot. And the comments on the blog are purposed for communication related to the articles! But thanks anyway! Have a great day! :)

  • May 8th, 2011 at 4:06 am

    Hello Alex,
Indeed was also contacted for an interview and was informed that i would be notified over the activation of my account by phone. Do you mean that the staffers can come to a declining decision after you proved that you can? Kindly contact some of us who underwent the rigorous processes. We are eager to begin writing for the company. Thank you.

    • May 10th, 2011 at 6:57 am

Dear Edwin, you uploaded the test task on the 7th of May, which was on the weekend, so please be patient: it might take some time for the staffers to respond! Thanks, have a great day!

  • May 13th, 2011 at 6:44 am

    Hi Alex,

Not yet received a notification yet. Could there be anything wrong?

    • May 13th, 2011 at 1:50 pm

I’ve forwarded your request to the QA Dpt., they are responsible for the application process. So they’ve activated your account. You can now login using your credentials! Thanks! Have a great day! Good luck with your writing gigs! :)

    Hi Alex,

I forwarded my written test this week and unfortunately I was called when my phones had a problem. I got an email and I replied specifying the times when I can be called and with assurances that my phones are now OK. That was Thursday, I have not gotten any call from then. Could you assist on this please?

    • May 24th, 2011 at 5:47 am

      Hello Nicolus!
You should request a call back through the live chat option – in this case the response will be the most immediate. Thank you.

      Truly Yours
      Alex
